Functional Syntonic Optometry - FSO
WHAT IS FSO
SYNTONICS,
has been clinically used in the field of optometry for over more than 85 years with uninterrupted success. Syntonic Phototherapy is non invasive and fast acting. It works by applying specific frequencies of low intensity light through the eyes.
Syntonics is based on well-established scientific principles. It is not involved with the visual or perceptual aspects of color, but in the unique energetic and physical effects that selected frequencies have on biological conditions and processes. Therefore, a large assortment of filters is used for a variety of clinical applications. Some of them represent a large range of the visible spectrum frequencies, others only a very small ranges.
FUNCTIONAL SYNTONIC OPTOMETRY,
Since our society has become physically, emotionally, and visually more complex and demanding, our patients/clients need to be approached in a more precise and functional manner.
FSO adds another, deeper dimension to current treatment modalities.
It fulfills treatment demands with more advanced measurements, different and a greater variety of training techniques adapted to each patient’s personal needs.
“”Syntony“
the state of being adjusted to a certain wavelength.

OUR MISSION
The European Academy (EASO) Provides Post-Graduate Continuing Education Programs for the Behavioral Optometrist who wishes to learn and to further develop his knowledge in Functional Syntonic Optometry.
WHAT WE'VE ACHIEVED
The EASO Continuing Education FSO - Curriculums and courses and Fellowship Program are recognized in full.
Our Spanish partner, SIODEC - Sociedad International de Optometria del Desarrollo y del Comportamiento, presents the same curriculums and educational programs with full BOAF - EASO support and recognition, to Behavioral and Syntonic Optometrists in Spain.
EASO has already presented many Basic Curriculums and courses to their European members.
Advanced Syntonic Optometry Topics have been elaborated.
A full educational program has been set up which leeds to a Fellowship Program.
To learn more about all this, go to the Event and Project-Section on the EASO-Website.
The dates of Continuing Education Programs, EASO Events and Annual Meetings are listed on the EASO - BOAF - SIODEC websites.
